Housewives and Idol Bring God Into Over 40 Million Homes

Desperate Housewives and American Idol, two of the most influential shows in today's pop-culture, have surprised many viewers by bringing God into the script and song.

A few weeks ago, American Idol aired their annual, "Idol Gives Back", a live broadcast raising funds and awareness about some of the worlds top charities.

Many of the night's highlights can be found on Youtube. The most talked about and inspirational one of all, is the one titled "Shout to The Lord American Idols on Idol Gives Back".

If you were not apart of the masses that watched it a few weeks ago on Fox, you will discover that all of the remaining contestants actually performed the refinancing homes tune on the live broadcast the night before, viewed by over 18million.

It is amazing to see one of the most inspirational songs written in the late 90's make its comeback through the most watched show on television.

This happened just months after a spirit-filled band, "The Clark Brothers", won The next great American band, a secular contest that was aired on fox as well. A few weeks back they guest-starred on Idol and performed a captivating rendition of "Jesus on the Mainline".

There has been more attention focused on Jesus through primetime TV this year, than ever before. There has been a true awakening of people's spirits, as they begin to feel the emptiness and void that comes with having no true focus of God in the Goober and the Ghost Chasers of their lives.

Even America's most talked about show, Desperate Housewives, which is known for its scandalous scripts, recently addressed the issue of faith in their much anticipated come-back episode.

One of the main characters, Lynette Scavo, broke down and admitted that she was searching for true answers in God, after surviving a tornado and her own battle with Cancer.

In this episode she actually went to church and asked the preacher some of life's most difficult questions about faith and God. This was the highlight of the episode, and is sure to have sparked provoking thoughts into the minds of its viewers.

There is an acceptance of church and Christianity in today's society that has been missing for years. This stems from having a generation that is hungry for true faith, and true answers.

As churches begin to focus on relationship over religion, we Marvelcomics finding that more and more hungry souls are coming to know Christ in a more intimate way than ever before.

People are searching for something to put their faith in. In a world that is full of turmoil and strife, there is a generation that is Toydealer for justice, equality, and true faith! As, it was stated by the top contestants on the nations #1 reality show, "nothing compares to the promise I have in you"
